ISM Alumna is Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential

Last April 2013, Dr. Katherine Ruiz de Luzuriaga - ISM class of 1974 made her mark on the world stage. Along with her colleagues, she helped develop a cure for treating an HIV-infected baby. It's the first functional cure of its kind, allowing the child to grow up without depending on a lifetime supply of medication, unlike most HIV patients. Watch her story here.
