Overseas Hires
The School is happy to arrange interviews and campus tours for prospective teachers. Under special circumstances, the school may cover hotel expenses for individuals traveling to the Philippines for a scheduled interview.

International School Manila accepts direct applications for professional employment all year round. The School also works with Global Recruitment Collaborative (GRC) and Search Associates to fill faculty requirements. Internships
The overseas hired teacher internship program at International School Manila (ISM) provides opportunities for individuals from abroad to gain work experience, which includes a broad range of responsibilities, including substitute teaching duties. Interns will have successfully completed their academic studies, and may or may not have teaching credentials. ISM seeks outstanding individuals who do not yet have the requisite teaching experience, but who nevertheless seek an international challenge. Successful candidates will be well qualified individuals, with a dynamic personality and a flexible/growth mindset.
The program is a paid internship which also provides benefits such as inbound and outbound transportation, housing and utilities allowance, settling in allowance as well as professional development opportunities.
Interviewing for open positions normally takes place in person and can be scheduled at the recruiting fair destinations that ISM will be attending (these can be seen under Teaching Opportunities). If you are interested in applying you may complete an Online Application.
Substitute Teaching
International School Manila welcomes individuals who wish to apply for substitute teaching positions.
All substitutes must be permanent residents of the Philippines or hold documentation that would permit them to work.
