ISM Alumna is Recipient of Climate Breakthrough Award

Sara Jane Ahmed - ISM Class of 2009, from the Philippines and Bangladesh is one of three recipients of the prestigious 2021 Climate Breakthrough Award. This is the biggest environmental award of its kind awarded to change makers and leaders with innovative ideas in helping fight the global climate change battle.

As mentioned in the 2021 Climate Breakthrough Award Press Release, Sara is "a renowned strategist in finance who seeks to develop resilience and investment opportunities in climate vulnerable nations". She is founder of Financial Futures Center and also serves as Finance Advisor to the Ministries of Finance of the Vulnerable Twenty (V20) Group.

Sara will receive USD $3,000,000 to roll out her climate change strategy as part of The Climate Breakthrough Project - a group dedicated to climate change.
