A Homecoming in More Ways than One: ISM Opens Newly Revamped Alumni Lounge

The spirit of legacy and community was in full bloom as International School Manila officially opened its newly revamped Alumni Lounge last April 2025. The ribbon was ceremoniously cut by beloved former High School Counselor Vicky SyCip-Herrera (‘68), the pioneering force behind the School’s Alumni Office.

A Cozy Corner on Campus

The Alumni Lounge is a dedicated space for AS/ISM alumni to hang out, reminisce, and reconnect. With a cozy couch and shelves of Kawayan, Salinlahi, and Alaala yearbooks dating all the way back to 1939, the space invites former students to take a walk down memory lane.

Alum visitors can also enjoy a cup of coffee, browse through old photos, and even snap a new one using a polaroid camera. Photos and notes can be displayed on the Alumni Visitors Wall - a fun and personal way to mark their return to campus.

More Than a Lounge

The inauguration was made even more meaningful with the presence of several alumni, including trustees of the Vicky SyCip-Herrera Scholarship Foundation, whose continued support represents the strong bond between our School’s past, present, and future generations.

“This space is a tribute to the generations of alumni who continue to shape and support the ISM community,” shared Director of Advancement Anna Goco. “We hope it gives our alumni a sense of belonging when they visit.”
