Each October, seniors enter the frenzy of college applications. One key to avoiding being caught up in this rush is to start the process early. Every year seniors comment that “Wow! I never realized that to apply was so much work and take so much time!” The intent of this guide is to help you through the process. Every student and parent should take the time to read through this whole booklet. Moreover, we would strongly encourage you to visit the various links on our website. Most of the information and resources used in the creation of this booklet have been borrowed from a whole variety of other sources. We believe we have compiled the best information in the most compact and user-friendly format.
This guidebook is meant to provide you with some basic information as you think about higher education. The emphasis is upon higher education in the United States as the majority of ISM students go to the U.S. for their undergraduate college studies. However, some information about other systems is also included. Moreover, reading through this guide is helpful regardless of where you are planning to go. As said, in this publication we attempted to compile some crucial information about the college application process.
