LETTER FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT

September 13, 2013

Dear Sir/Madam:

Greetings from International School Manila!

I would like to take this opportunity to invite your school/company to participate in our application search for ISM’s Class of 2019 Filipino scholars.

International School Manila’s Filipino scholars come from public and private schools throughout Manila, including Claret School, UP-Integrated School, Philippine Science, Paco High School, Xavier, Assumption and Ateneo. And for more than forty years, many of ISM’s Filipino scholars have been winning full scholarships to the world’s top colleges and universities: Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Columbia, Cornell and Princeton, among others.

This program makes available scholarships for study through high school for students of Filipino citizenship who have completed their 7th year of school (Grades 1-6 plus first year high school or Grades 1-7) and will be thirteen or fourteen years of age by September 01, 2014. On this website you will find the 2014-2015 application packet, containing the scholarship announcement, a profile of previous scholars, and all the application forms. Completed forms must be submitted to International School Manila, Middle School Guidance Office, no later than 4:00 PM February 7, 2014.

The Filipino Scholar awardees currently enrolled in the school are outstanding in achievement and leadership. We hope and trust their experiences here at International School Manila have a positive impact on their development as scholars and as people.

Thank you for your help in distributing notice of this opportunity.

Sincerely yours,

David Toze

Superintendent
