BYOD: Bring Your Own Device @ ISM for Grades 7-12

International School Manila is committed to delivering the highest quality education in line with current best practices in the integration of technology. For the last three years students in Grades 11 and 12 have participated in our BYOD program resulting in an effective 21st Century learning environment.  For School Year 2013-2014 Grades 9 and 10 effectively joined the BYOD program.

We believe that students thrive in an environment in which education with technology is a seamless part of their lives. The new latest expansion of the BYOD program will help enable students to take ownership and responsibility for their learning both in and outside of the classroom as well as help ease their transition into high school.

For school year 2017-2018, Middle School Students in Grades 7 and 8 will continue to bring their own laptops to school each day. The BYOD program in Middle School started in 2014 and thanks to much positive feedback from teachers, parents, and students the BYOD requirement remains.

In short any student at ISM in Grades 7-12 is required to bring their own laptop to school to use as a learning tool in the classroom.
