Tagaytay

A short drive from Manila will lead you to nature trails and exciting adventures. Located an hour and a half South, away from the metro will bring you to Tagaytay. Known for all year-round cool weather, there are a lot of things to do in this city. From taking a volcano tour to windsurfing in Taal lake, you will find that one weekend isn't enough to do all the different activities. With the vast options of restaurants and quaint boutique hotels, most make this a regular weekend getaway destination.

Legazpi, Bicol

One of the iconic landmarks in the Bicol region is the picturesque Mount Mayon volcano in the province of Albay. The last eruption was September 18, 2014. If you are a fan of the Survivor series, you would have caught glimpses of Bicol in Survivor Caramoan season.

Banaue Rice Terraces

Located in the Nueva Vizcaya Mountain Province, the Banaue Rice Terraces are commonly referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World. The 2,000-year old terraces are approximately 1,500 meters above sea level and are carved into the mountain side. Locals plant rice using the original irrigation system, fed from the rainforest above the terraces.

Coron, Palawan

In the province of Palawan, you will find some of the most beautiful and untouched beaches in the Philippines. Coron Island is but one of 50 other minor islets comprising the Calamian Archipelago. From five-star resorts to adventure travels, there are many ways to enjoy the beauty of this area.
